SCP Ventures was born out of the Sustainergy Capital model of providing partners with not just capital, but value-added advice and capabilities that helps portfolio companies grow both domestically and in select international markets. SCP Ventures combines traditional investment backgrounds with deep industry specific knowledge in order to assist portfolio companies at all stages of growth.
SCP Ventures primarily invests in early-stage healthcare companies, with a focus on medical technologies and IT services, which are disrupting established industry verticals or filling niche segments of the market that are overlooked by larger corporations. We typically co-invest in Seed, Series A and Series B rounds. When we invest in earlier stages of a company’s lifecycle, we will look to continue to support the company’s future growth plans by reserving capital for follow-on capital raises.
The Partners at SCP Ventures as well as Sustainergy Capital have long operating and investing experience in both the US and Asia. The Partners leverage this experience and network to provide its portfolio companies access to East and Southeast Asia markets on the consumer and regulatory side as well as through strategic commercial partnerships.
SCP Ventures not only believes there are continuous and ever-changing opportunities within healthcare to drive significant investor value but we also believe that there are significant opportunities to improve access to healthcare.
